Anointing of the sick
If you wish to receive the Sacrament of the Sick at home you, a relative who someone with legal responsibility for your affairs should contact the parish office for a home visit.
If you are in hospital someone (as above) should speak to the ward staff for a priest to visit. This will be done by a local priest or one of the team of priest chaplains. These work on a rota system. The West Middlesex Hospital has a head chaplain who is not a Roman Catholic, and a Catholic Chaplain
who is not necessarily a priest.
Anointing of the sick may be administered more than once. The Sacrament includes absolution as a part of the Rite.
