Mass & Sacraments

The Vigil Mass on Saturdays at 6pm and the 10.30am Sunday Mass are open to the public.

Space is allocated on first come, first serve basis.

At present there is no 8am Sunday Mass.

Mass from the Church of St James is live-streamed via the Parish Facebook group at 12.15pm on Sundays

The church is open for private prayer at the following times:

Mondays 10.30-12.30pm

Wednesdays 1-3pm

Sundays 2-3pm (With the distribution of Holy Communion)

Holy Day Masses are sometimes celebrated at St. James’s Catholic Primary School, St. Catherine’s School, or at St Richard Reynolds Catholic College. Parishioners are welcome to these occasions.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available in the church from 9.45am to 10.45am every Saturday or by appointment.
